Have you ever struggled with a problem at work or at home, and felt as though you didn't even know where to start?
You might find that design thinking can help you approach problems differently, and lead to new ways of solving issues. Design thinking doesn't just apply to designers or technology. It's a practice that leverages empathetic thinking, problem identification, small experiments, and a test and learn approach that can be applied in almost any context, from solving HR issues to designing a chore list for your kids. Join us as we learn the elements of design thinking, and how to embed human-centered thinking into problem solving, followed by a series of exercises that will let us practice and apply the approach in fast and fun breakout sessions.
Join us for this fast pace, interactive workshop, where we'll have a chance to learn more about design thinking, and experience small group breakouts to solve real problems. All you need to bring is your imagination, and one problem you've been considering. It could be something at work, or could be an issue you've been thinking about from home or community group you are involved in. Be ready to share, and to come away with techniques and approaches that will help you think about problems through the lens of design thinking!
Event price includes breakfast, mimosas, and parking.
